Missionary Chronicles: Going Out With A Bang

¡Hola a todos!

How are y'all doing? I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend and got to spend time with family! I've got a fun email for y'all this week, so let's jump into it! We have two birthday shout-outs this week! My girl Sophie Bartlett had a birthday along with my Little Brother Ian!! I love y'all!!

Alright, so let's start off with the news...I'm getting transferred! I'll be headed to Cherokee in the Marietta Zone! My new companion's name is Hermana Crow and she's so amazing! I've talked to her quite a few times and I'm so excited to serve with her!

This was a great last week in the Coal Mountain Zone! The week started off with exchanges. I was with Hermana Flanary and we got some great work done together! We actually found a new person who we are hoping to start teaching! Her name is Yulisa and she seems super awesome! We found her while walking through our Glenwood trailer park, and she invited us in to talk to her about the Book of Mormon. She was super interested so we got her number and Hermana Lambert and her new companion will be visiting her tomorrow! Super exciting!!

We also had our last District Council of this transfer in Blairsville this week. We all got together at Ms. Joy's house for our last meeting! It was super awesome to be at her property again and to bring that strong spirit into her home! Sister Porter and I did a musical number to open the meeting and then Elder Stearman (who is going home) gave a training about things he's learned on his mission. It was super cool!

This weekend, we celebrated the 4th of July in style! On Saturday all of the Coal Mountain missionaries were invited to go and march in the Dahlonega 4th of July parade! It was super hot but it was so fun! It reminded me of the Cascade ID parade...you know just small town USA vibes.

It's crazy to think that my time here in Coal Mountain has come to an end! It flew by so fast! I'm forever grateful for the family that I've built here in the Coal Mountain Stake! I've made friends with missionaries and members who have changed my life for the better! I can't wait to see what the Lord has me in Marietta!

Alright y'all, that's all I've got for this week! Thanks for all of your continued support! I can't wait to fill y'all in next week! Love y'all!
