Missionary Chronicles: The Call To Serve

Image
Dear Sister Adams, You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ if Latter-Day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission and will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language. Good Morning Y'all, it's crazy to think that we're here. My mission has flown by WAY too fast! It so weird to look back because some of the days felt like the longest days of my life, but the weeks went by faster than I ever could've imagined! Coming out on my mission I feel like I had an idea of what to expect however, I also had no clue haha. My mission has been the happiest, and just as equally, the hardest experience of my life. I've been put through the refiners fire time and time again, but I'm thankful because it's allowed me to grow into who the Lord needs me to be.  I'm thankful for every experience I've had, the good and the bad. Each person I've contacted over the past 18 months has left an etern...

Missionary Chronicles: A *Dying* Missionaries Prayer

Image
Hola a todos!  How was everyone's week? I hope y'all were able to have a week of miracles! We sure did, so I'm excited to tell you about it! For starters, thanks for everyone who hoped onto our big Devotional last night! It was an incredible event and the Spirit was so incredibly strong! We heard some amazing conversion stories from some recent converts here in the Stake! We've been working on this Devotional for months and it felt so amazing to watch it all come together last night! Now to explain my email title, I had a very powerful experience last Monday Night. I knelt in prayer and pleaded with Heavenly Father to help me achieve my goal for this transfer, to leave the Roswell Zone and my own area better than I found it a year ago! What happened this week was nothing short of a miracle! Our first Miravke happened with our friend Araceli and her son Yael. On Tuesday we went over and taught them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Spirit was so powerful as we explained th...

Missionary Chronicles: Happy 4th Y'all!!

Image
Hola a todos!  Happy 4th of July again!! That was probably the fastest year of my whole life haha! I hope this week was a great one for y'all! My week was actually insane...here's how it went down.  We were on exchanges Monday-Thursday which was really stressful but really good. The first two days I was with Sister Tingey and Sister Bulkley in their area! They are such hard workers and we had a blast! I also got to see the Bouton Family one last time which was awesome!  The second two days I was with Sister Lowe here in Magnolia! She and I worked so hard and we saw a big miracle! While we were out knocking doors the universe decided we needed a downpour...you know how it is down here haha. Well, we were in the car trying to figure out what to do when I noticed on our map that we had a Grey dot a couple houses up the road. Sister Lowe and I got out of the car and went sprinting through the rain to the house! We knocked on the door and a lady named Olivia Paz opened the doo...

Missionary Chronicles: New Snack...Hormigas

Hola a todos! How was everyone's week? I hope ot was awesome and you were able to see God guiding your path along the way! This week was kind of a slower one here for us, one of those weeks that kind of seems to drag on. It's alright though, because we still saw some miracles! This past week we had Zone Conference...my last Zone Conference as a missionary. It was full of all kinds of emotion but I had one extremely powerful experience that I'd like to share with y'all. As y'all know I've spent the last 9 months of my mission as a TL meaning I've been tasked with training and supporting the other missionaries in my zone. This has been a challenging assignment to say the least but I've also loved every minute of it! Part of this assignment has me training at Zone Conference each transfer. This particular transfer was filled was all kind of emotions knowing this would be my last training as a full-time missionary. Know, when I recieve spiritual promptings I...
