Missionary Chronicles: Happy 4th Y'all!!
Hola a todos!
Happy 4th of July again!! That was probably the fastest year of my whole life haha! I hope this week was a great one for y'all! My week was actually insane...here's how it went down.
We were on exchanges Monday-Thursday which was really stressful but really good. The first two days I was with Sister Tingey and Sister Bulkley in their area! They are such hard workers and we had a blast! I also got to see the Bouton Family one last time which was awesome!
The second two days I was with Sister Lowe here in Magnolia! She and I worked so hard and we saw a big miracle! While we were out knocking doors the universe decided we needed a downpour...you know how it is down here haha. Well, we were in the car trying to figure out what to do when I noticed on our map that we had a Grey dot a couple houses up the road. Sister Lowe and I got out of the car and went sprinting through the rain to the house! We knocked on the door and a lady named Olivia Paz opened the door and immediately invited us in. As I was getting to know her, her husband walked in after getting off his construction job early because of the rain. I ended up teaching this couple and their son the whole Restoration and leaving them with a Book of Mormon! We found a new family to teach and we're super excited!!
One more miracle happened while I was actually out of the area on Tuesday, but it's still an amazing miracle for Magnolia and Sister Nava gave me permission to share it haha. So I don't remember if I talked about our new Friend Araceli last week or not but she's super awesome and is suoer prepared for our message! We'll, on Tuesday Hermana Nava had a lesson with her! Hermana Nava was trying to decided which member to bring to that lesson and denied on Hermana Solis. The problem here is that there are two Hermana Solis's in our Ward, one from México and one from Peru. Long story short, Hermana Nava ends up texting thr wrong Hermana Solis and didn't realize it until they showed up at the lesson hahaha. It was actually a crazy miracle though because Hermana Solis and Araceli hit it off and they're like best friends now! The Lord works in mysterious ways haha.
I also had the chance to go to the Atlanta Temple again, for my last time as a full-time missionary. Y'all, the Atlanta Temple has become a plot of Holy Ground in my life. I've had some insanely powerful experiences within its walls. From going with Converts for the first time, to finding my own answers in the Celestial Room, the Atlanta Temple has gotten me through a lot! Itbwas such a blessing to be able to visit this week!
Well y'all, that's all I've got for this week! I hope y'all have an amazing 4th of July! Go blow some stuff up for me haha! Love y'all!
