Missionary Chronicles: A *Dying* Missionaries Prayer

Hola a todos! 

How was everyone's week? I hope y'all were able to have a week of miracles! We sure did, so I'm excited to tell you about it!

For starters, thanks for everyone who hoped onto our big Devotional last night! It was an incredible event and the Spirit was so incredibly strong! We heard some amazing conversion stories from some recent converts here in the Stake! We've been working on this Devotional for months and it felt so amazing to watch it all come together last night!

Now to explain my email title, I had a very powerful experience last Monday Night. I knelt in prayer and pleaded with Heavenly Father to help me achieve my goal for this transfer, to leave the Roswell Zone and my own area better than I found it a year ago! What happened this week was nothing short of a miracle!

Our first Miravke happened with our friend Araceli and her son Yael. On Tuesday we went over and taught them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Spirit was so powerful as we explained the importance of baptism with the priesthood. After talking about it for a little bit, Araceli and Yael both accepted the invitation to be baptized on August 13th! So dang cool!! But the miracle doesn't even end there! As we were saying the closing prayer, there was a knock on the door. In walks the neighbors of Araceli, a lady named Maria and her 14 year old son Angel. Maria was immediately so excited to see us haha. Apparently Araceli has been talking about us and Maria and Angel were super curious! Well, they invited us back the next day to teach all four of them together! We showed up on Wednesday and they were all sitting there waiting for us! We had an extremely powerful Restoration Lesson and ended up putting Maria and Angel on-date for August 13th as well!! Literally such a miracle that we found these people! I still can't get over the fact that two prepared people just walked through the front door!!

Another crazy miracle we saw was with a part member family with two un-baptized kids. The kids names are Jefferson (14 years-old) and Genesis (10 years old). Their mom recently reached out to us and asked us to start teaching them. We talked to Jefferson at Church a couple weeks ago just to see where he was at with the idea of being baptized. He didn't seem super open to the idea so we asked him to pray and ponder to see if that's God's Plan for him. Well, we went over on Friday and taught them about the Restoration. Genesis was super involved but Jefferson seemed like he had something on his mind. After the lesson, he asked if he could chat with us. He opened up and told us that he'd decided he WANTS TO BE BAPTIZED!! This was such a tender moment with him! He said he wants a private baptism (just his family) and he wants to be baptized with his little Sister Genesis! We put both of them on-date for August 7th!!

I never could've imagined having a week like this one! Putting 6 people on-date in one week was one of the biggest miracles of my mission! Y'all, God is so good!! He's so mindful of all of our situations and he's got MAJOR miracles prepared for us as we're worthy to recieve them. 

This week I want to invite y'all to pray daily for the opportunity to see miracles in your lives. I promise that if you make this a daily routine the Lord will give you opportunities to see his hand in your life!
