Missionary Chronicles: Excuse Me...WHAT?!?

Hola a todos!!

How was everyone's week? Y'all this week was crazy and I have a lot to fill y'all in on!

Honestly, this week and the events that occurred could be made into a full length movie lol. The craziest stuff happend and I'm honeslty just all over the place haha.

As far as teaching goes, we were finally able to get in and start teaching Guinevere the new member lessons. It went super well and we were super happy to finally get back in over there. We didn't have a lesson with Macy this week, but she came to church again and brought her twin girls! They were the cutest and the ward has scooped them up already!

We did a good amount of services this week. One particular project we did involved moving and 8ft.×8ft hot tub down the road to one of our members houses. That was an experience I'll never forget lol. We also did some more work for Brother Terry. This week we helped him to clean out his barn and throw away all of his unnecessary tools haha. Some of it tool some convincing but we got it pretty clean lol.

Now, I have a story to share with y'all and it might be one of the best stories of my mission so far. So on Friday we were at the church doing our weekly Planning. As we were leaving we stopped to talk to the Elders for a minute. Then, as we were all walking back to our cars we saw a dog poke it's head around the corner of the church. The dog ran over to us and wouldn't leave. It was about 40 degrees outside so we didn't want to leave the dog there in the cold. We opted to walk the dog around the surrounding neighborhoods to see if anybody recognized it. Nobody did, so we then loaded the dog into our car and took it to the nearby vet to get it's chip scanned. We got the chip number from the vet then headed back to the church to look up the info. The only problem was that the company wouldn't give us the owners address because of privacy laws. So, we resorted to our last option and we loaded the dog into the car again and headed toward the animal control facility. We got to the animal control and turned the dog in as a lost animal. This was really quite the adventure for us 4 missionaries, and we were all the owner of a dog for about an hour and a half. We were just grateful for this fun little adventure in the midst of a crazy week.

Alright y'all, we got our transfer news last night. Our area is getting "blue washed" which means Sister Christman and I are both leaving and there will be Elders that replace us. This is a super uncommon thing, especially because we have someone on-date to be baptized. This news came as a huge shock, but I trust that the Elders coming in will do their best with this area and our people. As far as my transfer news goes, I will be headed to the Lilburn Zone to be a TL (basically the Sister Zone Leaders). My new area is also a Spanish Area! I'm super nervous about going back to a Spanish Area along with being in leadership, but I know that this is where the Lord needs me! I'm excited to serve the people in my new area as well as the sisters in my new zone!

Alright y'all, that was my crazy week haha. I hope y'all enjoyed reading about my adventures. I hope this next week goes great for yall! I'm sure I'll have some awesome updates next week! Until next time! Chao!
