Missionary Chronicles: The Apocalypse

Hola a todos! I hope y'all had a fantastic week and have been staying warm lol. Currently where I'm at is everything but warm but I'll get to that in a minute haha. I hope y'all were able to find opportunities to serve those around you!

This week was pretty crazy and it honestly feels like a whole transfer haha. Y'all know that we went to the temple on Wednesday and that was an awesome experience! I always love getting ti be in the Lord's House and feel the spirit that is undeniably there! I also got to see President and Sister Hilton who have become some of my favorite people on this planet of earth! 

COVID is still running wild here in Georgia and the Latinos especially are freaking out about it. We actually had a really funny experience on Wednesday night during our missionary coordination meeting (over zoom of course lol). We were literally in the middle of our meeting with the branch and Hermano Franchie (Branch Mission Leader) started showing of his COVID drug/vitamin stash. It was literally so funny so for no reason but we laughed wayyy to hard. Because COVID is still running wild down here all of our friends our in quarantine and sick so we haven't been able to teach this week. We've been doing a lot of finding and trying to find people who aren't in quarantine lol.

Ok, so y'all the apocalypse has hit in Georgia and thid place is going bazerk haha. As y'all know we had a huge winter storm here in the South East and it hit Georgia and the surrounding states. The only problem is that people here in the South have no idea how to deal with snow lol. Like for real, the Walmart is bought out, the roads are closed, CHURCH WAS CANCELED, and we were told not to leave the apartment yesterday. However, we still made sure to have some fun with the snow. Our district got together because we all live in the same complex and we built a snowman, had a snowball fight, and did a lot of sliping and sliding in the ice haha. We had a blast despite the fact that the whole area is shut down haha.
