Missionary Chronicles: Me Voy A La Tierra Prometida
Hola a todos!
I hope y'all had a great week! Hopefully y'all saw lots of miracles and tender mercies! This week was an awesome one here in Georgia! I'm excited to fill y'all in!
So to start off, we got transfer news last night! I'm headed back to the Roswell Zone to serve in the Magnolia Spanish Ward! I'm going to be in a trio again and my comps will be Hermana Flanary and Hermana Mcblain! We're going to be the TL's over in Roswell and I'm so excited! Magnolia is known as the promised land so I can't wait to see what the Lord has prepared for me over there!
This week was an awesome one to end on here in Riverside! We did our last two exchanges this week and they went super well! I have absolutely loved working with the Sisters of Lilburn Zone! They are all such incredible missionaries and they all have a peace of my heart!
We were finally able to get back in with Johanna this week after her quarantine. We taught her the Plan of Salvation and invited her to start praying about baptism! We also found a new person to teach this week named Ashley. We knocked on her door while we were working in Chile and we taught her the Restoration on her doorstep. She recently started reading the Bible for the first time in her life and asked if we could come back and help her to read and understand it! My companions are going to have such an awesome time working with her!
Also, we had a really funny finding experience while I was on exchanges in Stone Mountain this weekend. Hermana Gereau and I were out contacting some in-active families from the Stone Mountain Ward and it was dark. We knock on this one door and a kid answers. This kid was definitely not a Latino and the family we were looking for didn't live there. As we turned to leave, I heard something rustling on the porch behind me and without looking I stepped backward and was inches from stepping on a duck. A literal Duck was just chilling on this families porch in the pitch black. So yeah, that was an experience haha.
So yeah, that's all I've got for this week y'all! I'm so excited to fill y'all in next week about the adventures in my new area! I hope everyone has a fantastic week! As always, thanks for your continued love and support! Love y'all!!
Hermana Adams
