Missionary Chronicles: Spiritual Promptings -> Eternal Blessings

Hola a todos!

How was everyone's week? We've been talking a lot in our mission about miracles, so my mind has been heightened on the miracles I see throughout each day! Hopefully y'all gave bene able to notice them as well!

This week was an amazing start to the transfer to say the least! My new companion, Hermana Nava, is absolutely amazing! Not only is she seriously helping with my Spanish but her conversion story (she's only been a member 3 years) and her testimony is unlike any other! We've worked so hard this week to the point where we were literally burned out last night! We were beyond exhausted but beyond joyful as well!

Another amazing thing about Hermana Nava is her persistentence! She's been going through it health wise lately! Last transfer she was diagnosed with COVID-induced Asthma and has been super sick recently. That's not stopping her though! We went to the doctor on Wednesday hoping for some answers on the other health problems she's going through, but we got nothing! She's a fighter and she isn't slowing down! She knows why she's here and she wants to help everybody around her! She's actually super inspiring! That being said please keep her in your prayers still, it's rough for her to keep going and she could use the extra blessings

Now, as I said before we've been talking a lot about miracles here in the mission. President really took President Nelson's conference talk to heart. Especially the part about seeking and expecting miracles!! This week we've been trying to apply that in all we do and we had a serious experience with it on Saturday. Here's what went down...
Y'all know that family we've been teaching who live like 30 minutes away, Amara and Carlos? We'll, we went over on Saturday for a lesson with them. Carlos had to work so it was just Amara there but it was honestly an insanely cool lesson! We taught her the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the necessary steps to return to him. We opened up the Book of Mormon and taught right out of Mosiah and it was crazy! Amara really connected with thr story of Alma the Younger. As I taught Amara about baptism, I got the strongest prompting to invite Amara to be baptized...but for whatever reason I didn't do it. I'm not sure why, I just didn't. We went through the rest of the lesson and the Spirit remained equally as strong whole time. When we got to the car, Hermana Nava looked at me in the eyes and told me that she had gotten the strongest promise to put her on date. At this point we're both freaking out because we had the same prompting and didn't do it. We had started driving away, but the spirit shot through me like a bullet and I turned to car around and headed back to Amara's house. We looked at our calendar and chose May 22 (my mom's birthday) as a date to invite Amara to prepare for. We sat in the car and as I prayed for guidance if this date was right, I was so overcome with the Spirit and I could hardly speak. We went up and knocked on Amara's door again and invited her to baptized. She ACCEPTED!!! I honestly don't think I've ever felt the spirit so strong in my life! The Lord knew exactly what we needed to do and I'm raly thankful that he gave a second chance to fulfill his will when we missed it the first time! What a testament to me of miracles and of following spiritual promptings! You never know when a spiritual prompting can have eternal significance!

So yeah, that was my crazy miracle of this past week! I invite y'all to seek and expect miracles in your own lives! They're there and you'll notice the hand of the Lord in your life so much more as you pray to recognize and work to live wothy of these mighty miracles!

Alright y'all, that's all I've got for this week. I hope this next week is awesome for y'all! Thanks for your continued love and support! Love y'all!
